For best results, you may need to shine the flash light onto the sample from side. To take a picture, set you camera to take picture from short distance and position your camera close to but not touch the glass magnifier. To keep insects alive in a storage bottle, cover with cloth mesh instead of plastic cap. Cloth mesh can also be used to filter solid samples from muddy water. Safety Ask an adult when you are handling anything that is unknown to you. Wear gloves when handle animal and plant specimen.
