Description: This listing is for my handcrafted embellished VERY GRUNGY junk journal. Journal is very heavily collaged and embellished. This nostalgic, vintage-style journal has been stitched together with much affection. I did lots of the sewing by hand, including large part of the cover.Journal is quite chunky and it measures approximately 11 x 7.5 inches (with laces, etc. hanging out). The cover features an original very old cabinet card and a real (pressed) rose.Journals has lots of three-dimensional collages, showcasing several elements, including: lace, paper, fabric, seam binding, sari silk, and more. Lots of sewing throughout (including hand-stitching.)Journal includes lots of scraps of vintage trim, doilies, vintage lace, and more. There are pockets and tuck spots, pull outs and surprises throughout. It's chunky and pretty and made to hide a secret you hold close to your heart. The journal has vintage laces and also newer laces that I coffee-dyed for that wonderful vintage patina.
