This item belongs to my parents estate, so what I share with you about this item is by sight, not knowledge of ownership. It took me forever to find any info I could on this set. There are a few that are similar, but not this exact one. To my understanding this particular version is rare? I really don’t know that for sure, but it is what I read. The pieces are an exact replica of the originals. They range in size from approximately .75” to 1.25/1.5”. They are made of stone and are in excellent condition. The chessboard shows wear as shown in photos. The set did not originally come with book that is in this lot, or at least none of the sets I researched had it with the set. Anyway, the book is a great representation to the game and how it came about. Box shows wear as shown in photos. I AM NOT A COLLECTOR! Please keep that in mind when looking over this item.
