This sale is for the bracket sign only.Just Reduced! Neat old "Best-Ever" DAIRY PRODUCTS metal bracket sign. Sign is solid but has a good bit of wear. Still maintains a great look and might be the only one like this still around. It also appears to be the only one to ever show up on the market. We acquired from a collector's estate. The Best-Ever label came from the East Side Jersey Diary in Anderson Indiana, who later merged with Prairie Farms. The "East Side Jersey Dairy" was located in Anderson Indiana and had played a major role in that city and the Midwest U.S. for many decades starting in the early 20th Century. It literally started with a single brown Jersey fawn cow owned by the Hardacre family that launched a single family business and another classic American tale of hard work paying off, even for the little guy (and gal of course). They were early pioneers in the pasteurization process in the Midwest and continued to grow. The "Best -Ever" handle was incorporate later on and the company eventually merged with Prairie Farms (1987). We have a "Best Ever" East Side Jersey Dairy 1 quart bottle listed in our store as well. Sometimes it is fun to read what is behind a label. There is much more company history online. We only dusted off item and light wiped the surface of the sign, it may clean up a little better, but we will leave that to the buyer. There is no bracket, but one could easily be fashioned or one could hang on fixed L mounts to a wall as well. Please Read: Signature confirmation is required on delivery, so please plan accordingly.
