Up for sale is a CGC GRADED 9.2 WHITE PAGES copy of X-MEN #130 (LES MYSTÉRIEUX X-MEN #27/28) FRENCH CANADIAN, LES ÉDITIONS HÉRITAGE 1985, KEY 1st APPEARANCE ALPHA FLIGHT. TOP OF CGC CENSUS1st cameo team appearance of Alpha Flight: Sasquatch, Aurora, Northstar, Shaman, Snowbird Comic books from LES ÉDITIONS HÉRITAGE were distributed only in Quebec, Canada, starting in 1968 and ending in 1987 for the Marvel titles. They were published in French with black/white interiors and color covers (although some of the earliest and rarest issues were in full color) and sometimes they had their very own original variant covers, different from the original Marvel covers. At first they were double sized issues at 0.25cent (FORMAT DOUBLE) and comprised 2 full issues of a title + filler stories, but in 1977, they continued doing double sized issues but now with 2 numbers on the cover like L'ÉTONNANT SPIDER-MAN #69/70, all these double format issues and double issues caused certain issues to not have their covers printed, as only one cover would be used for 2 issues. They published mainly Marvel titles, some Archie and a few others from Gold Key,Dell and Charlton. The Marvel titles were published just a few months after their original English counterparts, making them the earliest foreign variant editions published. The print runs were extremely small, some at just 7000 copies, and are among the rarest foreign variants, and all unsold copies, were bound, trimmed and glued into big 4 issue square-bound books called COMICORAMA, making original, untrimmed copies in high grade even more uncommonly rare. Also as there were no comic book bags and boards, in the late sixties and early 70ies and these comics were bought by kids and read, so very few survived in high grade. In late March 2024, I and a partner purchased a large, pedigree worthy collection of over 1000 ÉDITIONS HÉRITAGE comics in ultra high grade. These are probably the best looking, newsstand fresh time capsule survivors, anyone will ever find. I will be selling a few of the highest graded CGC important key copies of these hard to find treasure, over the next few months. Grade ranges are as follows: HIGH GRADE: 8.0 and up MID GRADE: 5.0 to 7.5 LOW GRADE: 4.5 and below. Anything lower than a 2.0 will be specified. Books come with bags and boards and are complete unless specified. SHIPPING As a comic collector myself, I know how frustrating bad packaging can be for comics, and to have it arrive damaged, I have all the best materials, and use sturdy boxes and Gemini mailers, hard crease free cardboard to sandwich books with padded envelopes or boxes depending on number of books, everything necessary to insure that the books will be well protected during shipping. I have sold many books on e-bay and my customers were all satisfied with the packaging and service. Price for shipping will be determined by your location and the number of books you purchase. COMBINED SHIPPING Yes I do combine shipping, and if ever you pay shipping on multiple purchases, I will refund you the difference. CHECK OUT MY OTHER ITEMS I will have many other comics up for sale upcoming months as I load more listings every day, please check out my store.
