It's in good overall shape overall with some wear and age to the covers (see pictures). This publication was produced to teach the soldier what he can do for himself or a fellow soldier if injury or sickness occurs when no medical officer or Medical Department solider is nearby. Topics include treatment for wounds, fractures, heat and cold injuries and measures to take in different climates and situations. It also describes techniques for transporting sick and injured soldiers and describes the contents of first aid kits.
