The holster is used, see photo's for Condition. The leather is soft and supple. No cracks or crazing in the leather. The stitching is all intact and not fraying. There are no markings or dates on the holster. There is a handwritten name on the rear of the holster "MERKLER". Please see photos for condition and details. This holster has a smooth texture to the leather. NOTE: there was never an Official Shoulder Holster Issued by the German Army during WWII. Individual units that had a need for a shoulder holster would contract with a leather shop to produce the number of holsters needed.
