Description: This is a fine pre-World War I Imperial Russian Entrenching Tool that is in excellent condition. The iron spade measures 7½ x 5¾ inches and is marked with Cyrillic letters and the date ‘1913’ along one edge. The iron now with a pleasing age toned patina. The wooden handle measures 12½ inches and is strong, solid and without damage. Carved into the handle are the Cyrillic letters ‘Ͷ K’. The total length of the tool is 20 inches. This is a very fine pre-Revolution example that remains in excellent and undamaged field used condition.8962
