Description: This is my personal WW 1 or 2 GI reenactor's Blank adapted slide for my 1911 Pistol. It is a 45 cal Remington Rand slide and barrel. I used it on both 1911 and 1911A1 frames. Makes no difference. It runs 45 acp blanks very well. There are two barrel plugs in it to run both Swanson and Atlantic Wall Blanks. The Swanson blanks are more powerful to work with a Thompson. So if you carry a Thompson and a 1911 and want to run the same blanks this will work. I reenacted as a rifleman in the 327 Glider Infantry Regiment/101st Airborne Div. "The Battered Bastards of Bastone" I used this at Fort Indiantown Gap at the Battle of the Bulge Reenactment, which I did several times and at Conneaut Ohio for their annual D-Day Invasion.
