Description: Ww2 Sterling Silver I'd Bracelet named to SGT Joseph F Halper jr. Halper was born on October 16th, 1925, in Buffalo, Erie County, New York, and passed on May 17th, 2010, in Ocala, Marion County, Florida. During Ww2, Halper served with the 460th Bomb group for a period of time before he transferred to the 2641st Special Squadron 885th Bomb Group 15th Air Force Halper eared 5 Air Medals and the Presidential Unit Citation for his service during Ww2. Halper was also awarded the New York Conspicuous Service Cross in 1985. The 885th flew missions to supply the Office of Strategic Service-OSS from December 17th, 1944, to May 20th, 1945, and was awarded the President's Unit Citation as well as the French Croix De Guerre with Palm. The 2641st also earned the Presidential Unit Citation as a group. The bracelet is marked 1-20 12k on Sterling however it's hard to make out at times. I also believe this is a fantastic research opportunity for someone who has more time and willing to pull his service file.
