Description: Original WW1 (1918) British INTELLIGENCE MAP entitled "THE MACEDONIAN FRONT" (GHQ - B.E.F. - ITALY)The map is dated 28th September 1918 and came to me in a collection of similar British Intelligence maps printed late in the War.It gives an account of Allied progress on the 'Macedonian (or Salonica) Front' and was actually produced the day before the 'Armistice of Salonica' was signed on 29th September 1918.Interestingly, it has been field printed in Italy by the AP & SS (Army Printing & Stationery Services) and is of the kind prepared in small numbers for Intelligence Briefings etc.Maps originating from this often forgotten Battle front rarely come on to the market, and I currently have a small number available.Please see my other WW1 (and WW2) maps, documents, photos etc POSTAGE - Will be sent using Royal Mail's 'Signed For' Service which will adequately cover the insurance cost of the item.
