They are an inferior quality of leather. Depending on on the leather color case selected each has an internally matching soft plush fabric. Each case has 3 separate zippered compartments. There are two loops in the upper compartment, for storing cartridge style insulin pens. The bottom compartment is large enough to store your lancet, testing strips, and your glucometer, while the side compartment can store your pen needles. The case size is approximately 7-1/2 inches in length, 3-1/2 inches wide, and 2 inches deep.
