Description: I am listing many antique photos and post cards that have been in my husband’s family for decades. His father, grandfather and great grandfather all served during the World Wars. These were in the family collection when estates were settled. Those who could give us additional information have passed away. I will describe them the best I can. However, this was well before my time, and I am no expert in this area. Many of the photographs are stamped with “SIGNAL CORPS A.E.F. U.S. ARMY PHOTOGRAPHIC LABORATORY.” Some are stamped “A.E.F. PASSED AS CENSORED.” If you have questions or need more photos, please contact me. All prints are sold as pictured. This lot is described below. Be sure to check out my other listings as I have several of these lots available. These original photos are over 100 years old. Other than a few bends and missing corners, they are in good condition for age. Three are stamped on the back, and all have penciled letters/numbers. The photos depict a service man’s hand with injury, a building with tile roof, possibly mail call, barracks inspection, office with clerical workers, and resting horses. I don’t know anything about location or content for sure, but probably France. They measure about 6½ by 8½ inches. Please view photos for specifics.
