Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely vintage Sterling Silver 8.25" bowl, #2211 made by the Woodside Sterling Co. The bowl has a lobed shape with deep sides and has a pierced grape and grapevine design around the scalloped top border. In the center of the bowl is a fancy 2-letter monogram "F B". The bowl is marked with the trademark stamp used by the Woodside Sterling Co. and "Sterling, 2211". The Woodside Sterling Company was in business in New York NY from 1896-1925 and made high quality decorative Sterling Silver items. Measures 2 1/2" high with the bowl being 8 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 216 grams. This lovely bowl is in excellent Estate condition with the only noted flaws being a couple of faint no-harm dents about half way down two of the fluted panels.
