Description: "Wildlife Landscapes" is a suite of four prints by Les Kouba published in 1975 in an edition of only 900 plus 50 Artist's Proofs. I think this series of prints contain the most beautiful signatures Les ever did because he wasn't rushed trying to sign 1000 prints or more at a time. He would sign these in lots of only 50 each. The image size of each print is 17 1/2" X 24" plus full margins. This offer is for all four pieces which have identical numbers (i.e. 26/900). When these suites were published in 1975, the price was $1,000.00 for the set of four prints The Wildlife Landscapes suite (or set) was published in 1975 following his famous "Headin' for Shelter” print, published in 1974. My selecting these four images for publication as a suite (or set) gave Les the idea of creating a series of paintings (and prints) that would go together and tell a story. In 1974 he had created “Headin’ for Shelter”. Subsequently, he created "In Shelter" and then "Leavin' Shelter". The three pieces became the highly sought after 'Shelter Series'. Later, he also created the "Darkhouse Fishing" series. In mint condition; never framed.
