Description: This is a hand crafted ring made right here in my Tampa Bay studio. I am a metalsmith artist selling hand crafted jewelry on Etsy under the shop name Silver Seahorse Design Studio. I am learning to cut and polish my own stones now (lapidary arts) and this is one of my first cabochons. The stone is a mookaite, an Australian jasper that combines the lighter colors of yellow and red jasper. It encourages the desire for new experiences and helps to keep a balance between external activities and the internal response to these. It imparts a deep calm while encouraging versatility. I have set this cab in an antiqued copper setting to enhance the natural colors. There is a wide decorative rim with holes and stampings around the bezel. The top is joined to the wide band with rivet screws, and the copper of the band itself is textured. Size 8. I have applied an anti-tarnish protection both inside, to protect your skin from discoloration, and outside to minimize the amount it will darken with age.
