Description: Whitman Poetry and Prose (1982 HCDJ) The Library of America This book is in good condition. There are "not for resale" stamps on the top age edges and on the cover page. The dust jacket is in good condition for its age. The book shows signs of age or wear through slight cover/spine edge fading/tanning, light soil, spine/cover edge/corner rub, corner push, spine upper/lower edge rub/push, page edge rub, scuffs, or scratches, page edge light soil/rub soil, a few edge nicks/dents, and yellowing of pages. A couple of pages have edge folds. Several dog eared pages. The front cove top edge has 2 dents. Hinges are not visible. All pages are intact. The dust jacket shows signs of age/wear through cover/spine edge/corner rubbing/scratches/chaffing/tears/chips/splits/edge creasing, light rub soil, light inside tanning/edge tanning, and slight rub fade. All corners are well rubbed and worn with some splitting/chipping...the longest split is about 1/2". The spine upper and lower edges are well rubbed and have small tears and chips across. Several tears along the top edges. Tiny edge chips and tears throughout, but mostly on and near the spine upper and lower edges. Front inside flap has a long crease. The back inside flap has a corner fold. Note about the seller – I am not selling books as much as I am sharing in a passion.
