Description: For sale is a vintage San Fransisco music box featuring the city's iconic cable car by Westland. The ceramic cityscape features a cable car as pull tab for the music box which plays "I Left My Heart In San Fransisco." As the music plays, the cord retracts giving the effect of the cable car climbing up the inclined street. This piece is in good vintage condition. There is a small chip on the underside rim of the cable car (photograph 2 & 13) and some light general wear which includes a few pinpoints of paint loss on the roof tops. The cord has some age related yellowing of exposed areas. The music box in marked for Westland on the reverse and dated 1980. In addition, there is a gold foil label on the green felt bottom.
