Description: Beautiful dinner plates from the Western Folklife Center in Elko, Nevada; purchased at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in around 2016 or 2017. Plates feature a cowgirl fiddle player, a cowboy guitar player, and a mandolin player. The graphic on the rim of the plates features various ranch/cattle "brands," which actually spell out "Elko Nevada Cowboy Poetry Gathering." Plates are a very slightly off-white color, with reddish brown graphics. They have never been used. I always thought I would get to go back and purchase additional plates, but that didn't happen. They're quite heavy pottery, made in the tradition of vintage western restaurant ware.Plates measure approximately 9 1/8 inches in diameter. Celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy on the 4th Saturday in July.
