Description: You are bidding on a Western Electric type 233D INPUT transformer. It is in nice clean condition, and is in a cast iron case with gray paint. It has a date code of 5V57, but I did not think WE made these cast iron transformers that late, so it could be made earlier and repainted. The specifications indicate that the ratio is 20,000:50,000 ohms, with a low side winding with DCF resistance of 3480 ohms, and high side of 5450 ohms. The low side inductance is 150 Hy. It was used in the type 32A amplifier, and others. I left two jumpers in place, as it was used. It is guaranteed to be a good usable transformer. In size, it measures roughly 3 1/4 inches by 2 5/8 at the base, and is 3 1/2 inches tall, not counting the terminals. It is a high quality transformer that should be great for your amplifier project.
