Jig heads are actually lighter than the respective lead head size (see below.) *These jigs do not have wire keepers. It is recommended that you superglue the baits on the jigs. Some people prefer jigs without keepers with elaztech style baits. Please view our other variations that are available. *A flexible braided wire is used for the weedguard.*A slight coat of powder paint is cured on the end of the weedguard to help prevent the wire from fraying. *The American-made Eagle-Claw hooks used are made with light-wire metal. They have the superb flex and penetration required to maximize hook-sets on finesse gear. The hooks have a black, nickel finish. This helps to prevent corrosion when using salted trailers.*Lead-Free, Bismuth/Tin Alloy. *This alloy is approx. 20% lighter than the same size lead head!*Environmentally friendly.*All jigs listed are pre-made, powder painted, oven-cured, and ready to be shipped. This means very little waiting for you and expedited shipping. *Benefit from a larger profile head with a slower sink rate and increased displacement of water. This is a huge benefit for the finesse style fishing and can significantly increase fish strikes. *Designed for ned rig/midwest finesse style fishing, but can be used for numerous other styles of fishing.*Head has great shape to stand upright, yet outer edges are concave to help prevent snags. Worms have a clean, flush fit with this style of head. *The powder coat paint receives 2 clear coat applications after being oven cured. This makes a huge difference in the durability of the paint! *Sprues have been filed down before the powder coating was applied for a smoother finish on the top of the jig.*Eyes of the jigs are clear of paint and ready to be fished with. *I try to ship all orders as soon as possible.
