Description: These unique 1 liter (33.81 fluid ounce) jars were purchased in Germany over 40 years ago. The Weck brand is known for its quality, durability and their famous embossed strawberry logo. After visiting their website, I concluded that this style is no longer available new, and I am unable to find any eBay listings that match. Though somewhat similar to the common "Tulip Jar," the base is wider and the overall shape less rounded. They are beautiful antiques yet practical. They can serve as canning jars, small planters, for storage of dry goods or other items, displaying memorabilia... Jars are stackable for space-saving and feature wide mouths for easy filling. Includes extra lid and clamps: 6 Jars, 7 glass lids (glass doesn't rust!), 6 rubber rings & 24 clamps. The rings are amazingly soft and supple despite their age, more evidence of a good product.
