The series is known as; The Jagiellonian Tapestries or the Wawel Arrasses. The Wawel Arrasses originally consisted of 365 pieces assembled by the Jagiellons to decorate the interiors of the royal residence Wawel Castle. Wawel Forest left depicts an image of a serene lake with an elegant swan surrounded in lush verdure imagery.
