DESCRIPTION Antique pre-owned 1922 Watrous Mfg. Co. sterling silver double compartment, mirrored compact dance purse. Coin purse is bell shaped and measures approximately 3 1/4" long x 2" at the widest point. The front side has a ribbon & pin-stripe design monogrammed "JYS, 12-12-1922". The backside is high polished. There are some surface scratches, dings/dents and patina present. Inside has double hinged door compartments on one side with stationary mirror on the other. Hallmarked with the Watrous Mfg. Co maker’s mark, sterling and 787 (possibly the style number). Push button closure on the outside is tight & secure. Mesh wrist bracelet with adjustable slide has a drop length of 4 1/2". One link is loose. Light surface scratches/patina as is common with antique condition.
