Description: Walt Disney Very large signature, "Walt Disney," Obtained in-person at the Seattle World Fair (also known as the Century 21 exposition) on September 22, 1962. Amazing backstory on the provenance from the original owner: I was 13 at the time with my parents and we were near the bottom of the Space Needle. As I recall a car pulled up, I believe a limo and several people got out. I saw Mr. Disney and I turned to my parents and said something to the affect that I think that's Walt Disney. He was close enough that he heard me, turned and smiled. He replied that yes he was Walt Disney. I think my parents told me to ask for an autograph and Walt was still smiling and said he would give me his autograph. I kind of panicked trying to figure out something to use when I grabbed a booklet from our tote bag that was a handout from the Japan exhibition. I found a page that was blank on one side and had a statement from a Japanese minister on the other side. I realized he had some family members but Walt Disney remained patient and very nice. Previously laminated by original owner. Light handling wear and fold to upper right corner. The original event ticket, souvenir program and tote bag will be included. A recent small print of Disney and his family at the event is shown and will also be included. Authenticated and encased by PSA DNA. Total size with case is 9.5 x 13"
