The newly developed Competition high-performance intercooler core still grants enough airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg / WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg) . CAD developed freeform end boxes with incorporated cast aluminium air baffle for best possible internal air distribution. The CNC machined hose connections were enlarged to Ø67mm , so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses. Overall this intercooler has far from less back pressure than the stock cooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
