Your brake servo check valve is a one-way valve that is put in-line between the engine and the servo on power-brake systems to ensure that if your engine dies or if you have to repeatedly brake quickly, you still have the brakes to do it. It allows are to be sucked out of the booster but doesn't allow it in so you still have pressure on the brakes. These brand new check valves are made by ATE and are from the same company that made them for VW originally!
