Description: VW MK4 02J 5 Speed Manual Shift Tower Shifter Golf Jetta Beetle TDI 02J301232B This 02J 5 speed manual transmission shift tower with clip style cable ends was removed from a 2001 Volkswagen MK4 Beetle with TDI 4-cylinder engine. This assembly was original to 2001 through 2005 Volkswagen MK4 Golf, Jetta and Beetle models with the 5-speed 02J manual transmission. This shift tower assembly has been cleaned, inspected and reassembled. The shift tower moves freely and is fully functional without excessive slop. The shift tower shaft surface shows minor wear but the chrome is not chipped or gouged. All components were confirmed to be in good functional condition. The cable ends show some age cracking in the rubber but are in functional condition. Mounting hardware is included as shown in listing photos. This assembly should fit on any VW MK4 02J transmission model (VR6, 2.0, 1.8T, TDI) and will be an upgrade to early 02J and 02A 5 speed manual transmissions having the Black Top shift tower (note: late 02J shifter box with ball-joint style shift rod and cables are required when upgrading from early 02J and 02A transmissions).
