Description: UP for your BIDVINTAGE VIETNAM WAR LIGHTER #6Authentic Viet Cong Military Issue LighterAluminum 2 1/4 x 1" Markings: Eagle on Globe with the words: MOI NGAY NHU MOI NGAY TRAU DIEN on the lid portion. Hard to translate - different translating sites give different meanings. Most say: Every day is like a crazy buffalo day (?) Must have cultural idiom meaning? Other side has City and Date on lid - presumably date of issue - and Saigon with building stamped into the metal on the bottom portion.This lighter is stamped: DA NANG 22.3.66 March 22, 1966The bottom is stamped HOA-MAI - the makerThe condition is very good. The wicks appear unused and the exterior has scuff marks and minor dings due to age. Some minimal corrosion in spots. They do not light - no fuel. Selling AS IS.
