Description: A book club edition of a very famous, highly collectible cookbook, titled the modern family cookbook written by Meta given. It was originally written in the 1940s. This is a newer addition for a book club. It has wonderful indexing and information and modern American recipes that were very popular at that time. The recipes are still classic and very popular now. It is a gray hardcover and that is generally in very good condition. Some minor scuffing on the edges. Unfortunately the pages have some browning on them on the edges. See all pictures. The dust cover has a lot of damage. This was a book that was loved and well used. It originally was covered in plastic to try to protect it even better. I removed the plastic. But the dust cover does have tear and some watermarks. See pictures for full condition. It is all intact. 632 pages. No odors. No foxing.
