Description: This is a beautiful Estate Sale find. It was tucked away in a window seat that was more than 10 feet long. Above the seat was a massive Victorian stained glass window that was also 10 feet across on the landing of a mahogany staircase. It was wrapped in brown paper and a white sheet. This rug is crisp and not worn or used. It has no wear. The edges or selvage is tight. it has beautiful color and amazing Tulip motif. I was told it was wool of some kind ( it does feel that way ). It has no label. It was said to be Scandinavian as the Estate owner was from Denmark. He said his mother kept it in the window seat since he was a kid, it was a gift from his Aunt who visited from overseas. Important Note I do not know the technique used to create or the exact fabric content.
