Description: I have two square dance outfits to sell. This one is a beautiful blue with silver and white trim. Imagine the trim shining on the dance floor! It comes with the very full skirt and two shirts. One is sleeveless and the other is longer sleeved. (Note: both are women's shirts as they have darts). This is a handmade set. These are in great condition. The only real flaw I see is a little soil around the collar of the long-sleeved shirt. Of course, these have been stored for many years and will need to be cleaned anyway. My people always stored these skirts in an old hose to keep the fluffiness in the skirts. (see last photo). I will also ship them that way. The age is probably from the early 1950s. These have been around as long as I remember, and I am almost 69. Since it is handmade, there is no label to tell the fabric. It is stiff like cotton but has been factory pressed into a crinkly type of fabric giving it some give (not in the waistband though). It is almost like tiny pleats throughout the fabric. It feels like a thin cotton though but may not be.
