Description: This is a vintage Sears 10/2 Amp fully automatic battery charger and maintainer . The charger is designed for use with a variety of vehicles. It can be used on a 6-volt battery or a 12-volt battery. It features selectable output of 10 amps, or 2 amps and 6-volts or 12-volts. I replaced the flimsy alligator clips with a pair of new heavy duty alligator clips. I also cleaned the units insides including the switches and put a fresh coat of sealer on the limitations of the power transformer to prevent rust. One of the leads coming out of the charger looks shinny. That is nothing to worry about it is just some overspray from when I sprayed the transformer. Check out the pictures they are of the actual unit you will get. Ask if you have any questions. Note is the old school design with the large heavy power transformer that are made to last.
