VTG OLD STOCK 50's SIAMESE CAT KITTEN TV LAMP / CALIFORNIA USA GREEN MARBLE EYES

Description: Offered for auction a, "VINTAGE OLD STOCK 50's SIAMESE CAT KITTEN CERAMIC TV LAMP MADE IN CALIFORNIA / WITHOUT BULB, CORD & WITHOUT UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES AFFIXED STAMP". Obviously, this glazed lamp mold did not receive the accessories that would make it a functioning lamp and was possibly shelved for many years. Buyer can either upgrade by adding the accessories, or let it remain as a lovely art piece. The colors are off-white, gray, black, beige, with green eyes. It is in very good vintage, preowned condition, with fine crazing covering the entire surface. There are no scratches or chips. Inside the cavity at the bottom there is a small 1/2" hairline that is confined to the cavity, and does not appear on the underside (photo #12). The faint impressed mark above the cavity reads: MADE IN CALIF. USA. One of the green eyes on the lower cat appears larger than the other. Overall Dimensions: Height...11 1/2", Width...9 1/2", Depth...5 1/4". This Lamp Base is offered "as is", with no return or refund after received. It is clean, from a smoke-free environment, and ready to display.
