Description: These two vintage Japanese Yunomi teacups are handmade and richly glazed in earth tones. They are signed on the bottom with a kiln or makers impressed mark. Please see Note below in regards to their porosity.* Condition: Both cups are in good condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. * One cup has been used and shows the patina and stained crazing to the interior that comes with regular use. The other cup appears unused. Please see the photos and note below regarding porosity. *Note: This style of Yunomi cup is made of a porous clay and glaze. It is meant to be used with a hot drink like tea. A new cup will "leak" a little. Over time and use the pores in the glaze get filled and this leaking stops. We tested both cups with hot water. The cup that shows regular use did not leak. The cup showing little or no use leaked a little after an hour or so - as expected. Size: 3.5" High x 3" Wide We ship with care and tracking.
