Description: This wildcrocus listing offers a vintage created in Germany miniature Black Forest Water Color Painting featuring a Buck Roe Deer set in a small pendant frame with hanging ring. It may have been gifted as it has an inscription on the back in German, showing a date of July 26, 1945. Another thought is that it is a signature on back with the word self, maybe made by self. There is a glass front over the deer painting. Featuring an organic vining floral design, the repoussé ornate metal frame is not steel as it does not attract a magnet. We think by the appearance that it may be nickel silver, which would be typical, but we do not know for certain.
