Description: These items are from the estate of a long-time collector of items from a variety of fraternal organizations. The owner was a Past Worshipful Master and 49 year Mason prior to his death, belonged to the Shrine (member of the Clown Corp for many years), Scottish Rite, Grottoes of North America (MOVPER), Eastern Star, and Advisory Board Member and Grand Cross of Color recipient of the Grand Cross of Color, Order of the Rainbow for Girls. These are pieces he used and others he collected. This vintage bolo tie has the double eagle 32nd degree Mason slide. A 32nd degree Mason is a member of the Scottish Rite, which is a part of Freemasonry. To become a 32nd degree Mason, one must be a Master Mason in good standing, apply to join the Scottish Rite in their jurisdiction, have their application approved, and witness five Scottish Rite degrees. One can achieve the 32nd degree relatively quickly in the United States and Canada but it can take over 20 years to reach in Europe and South America. Some jurisdictions in Europe and South America do not recognize 32nd degree Masons who reached their degree in the United States and will not allow them to attend their meetings. This offer does not include any rulers, props, or other items that are not listed in the title and/or description. If you are bidding on multiple items, please contact seller. If you are the buyer of multiple items from this seller that are closing within three days of each other, seller will combine shipping and send an invoice with the adjusted shipping charge to buyer.
