VTG Big Ben Westclox Black Case White Face 4-53647 Alarm Clock Works FOR PARTS

Description: This is a beat up vintage Westclox Big Ben wind up alarm clock. It’s has a Black Case and off-white Face. The bottom is engraved 4-53647. It’s being sold FOR PARTS or repair. It does work but it’s clearly been dropped at some point and I make no guarantees that it will keep working. The chime works on the alarm. The clear plastic over the face has scratches. The chrome on the face surround is flaking. It has several dents. It’s crooked. It’s kind of amazing that the clock still keeps time! The guts of this could be put into a new case and make a great clock that’s aesthetically pleasing. The piece is a testament to American craftsmanship of the 19th century. The design is Art Deco.
