Vtg ARC France Glass 12 Pc Set Dinner & Salad Plates Cereal Bowls 4 Diff Colors!

Description: Today I am offering this fabulous set of 12 vintage ARC glass dinner service pieces, made in France. This company is also known as Arcoroc, Luminarc, and ArcOpal. I believe these pieces are circa 1960s/1970s era. They are a set of twelve matching monochrome dishes including 4 dinner plates, and 4 salad/dessert plates, plus 4 cereal/soup coupe bowls. There is one blue, one green, one yellow, and one orange in each of three different dish types, for a total of 12 pieces. They are smooth on the top surface with the color flashed on the underside. So the tops are glossy and the bottoms are a matte finish. They are made from tempered glass (like Pyrex) which is treated to make it stronger and more resistant to breaking. The dinner plates measure approximately 10" across. The smaller salad plates measure about 7" across. All the plates all have a center well about " deep, being slightly raised around the edges. The bowls measure approximately 6" across the top opening, about 1" deep, and taper down to about 2" across the bottom. (Just FYI, the pictures that include the quarter coin are the salad plates.) They are each embossed with the Arc France name logo on the undersides. Sometimes the word ARC is in uppercase letters and sometimes lowercase. It's difficult to find and read the name on some of the pieces but I have confirmed that they are all appropriately marked. There are also tiny raised numbers on the bottom. Not sure what that indicates as most of them are different without rhyme or reason. Maybe batch numbers? They are all in excellent vintage pre-owned condition. I can find no chips, cracks, unsightly scratches or other damage. The colors are vivid and bright. There are a couple of super miniscule dots of missing color, too small to even get a picture. But at this point I am just being hyper-critical for the sake of accuracy and transparency. I have seen these offered on very rare occasions, but never a full set of 12 in four different colors! Don't sleep on this deal because it'll be a far-off blue moon before you ever find it again. Please review all the pictures and zoom in for close-ups as they are an integral part of the description. A bit of advice about these: They do not indicate one way or the other, but I personally would hand wash these to retain the color for years to come. Additionally, I would not microwave them, but that's up to you. They are expensive vintage items that will last another 50 years with careful handling.
