Vtg antique? Hand carved painted WOOD DUCK Weathervane decor MAILBOX Topper part

I don't know if it was part of a weathervane or possibly a topper for a mail box? I'm not sure on this one. It's obviously hand made. The wood is lightweight.. probably pine.
