Description: .25 liter (8.5 ounces) German stoneware carafe is gray with cobalt blue design elements and writing. The German "Ein Krug aus Stein, ein Edler Wein, ja das muss köstlichsein" translates to, essentially, "A jug of stone, a noble wine, yes that must be delicious." Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, stains, etc. Maker's mark unknown but it is inscribed 3457 on the bottom. Carafe is 4.25 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide. Holds enough for one or two glasses of wine.
