The outsideglaze color is an earthy brownand the inside glaze color isa dark maize. The Rookwoodvase number is 2735. What makesthis vase so interesting is thatthere is an "X" carved in the glazeon the bottom. This mark classified the vase as a "second".Employees were allowed to take home the vases marked withan "X". The vase is in excellentcondition with no chips, cracks orrepairs.
