Description: Very nice 1956 or 1957 vintage Westinghouse 7-transistor pocket radio in very good condition, as pictured. While it doesn't feel like it, this was one of the very first transistor radios from Westinghose. Features a nice, large, clear dial and an "unbreakable case." Another fabulous early Westinghouse transistor radio in wonderful condition. Please keep in mind that these radios were initially wired for a 9v battery type that is no longer made. Radio would need a slight adjustment to use a modern 9v battery, but that shouldn't be too difficult.
