Description: Vintage Silver Plated Copper Woven Wire Metal Cord Turquoise Western Bolo Tie 28" A unique Southwest bolo tie. The cord is a complex, very flexible and light tubular weave of fine silver-plated copper wire, with turquoise-emblazoned slider. Looks like around 1950s; so probably genuine turquoise. Would have been slowly hand-woven with a small machine. Worn enough to rub off some silver, mostly from the under-surfaces. This is clear in the pictures, especially the super close-up of a section of the underside. No other defects or damage noted. 28" total length. Cord is 0.3" diam and weighs only about 0.7 oz. Total weight about 1.1 oz.
