Description: Vintage USAF Aircraft Aviation F86 Sabre Jet Fighter Metal Fuse Box Panel This panel was found in a collection of F86 parts purchased at auction and is likely from the aircraft. The F-86 was the first successful fighter to take on the famous MIG-17 during the Korean War. With its 6 50 cal. machine guns in the nose the F-86 was a mean fighting machine. The Sabre Jet ended the Korean War with a very high kill ratio against the MIG-17. Today the F-86 is a prized warbird and several still fly in civilian hands. Features: • Dated: Feb 3, 1959 • Marked: 223541143 • This panel would make an excellent wall hanging for the office or home. • The panel is in good condition, but we cannot guarantee its airworthiness. Sold as is, as found. Measurements: Length: 8 in / 20 cm Width: 8.5 in / 22 cm Condition: Pre-Owned Good vintage condition. This instrument was acquired at an Historical Aviation Auction for Western PA Warbird Military Museum that was owned and operated by the late Dr. Walter V. Powell.
