Description: I have for bids, a USA M. Wards 1930’s Schoolboy Rowe 4232 model, baseball glove. Glove is made of horsehide and was well taken care of, having no rips, tears, holes, or cracks, and still having soft leather throughout. Stamped Lynwood T. Rowe on lower pinky. All leather lacing appears to be original, and is still in excellent played with condition. Nice welting between fingers, as well as the piping and brass button. Also has a full leather lining, with no rips, tears, holes or chaffing. Has the vertical tunnel web. Glove is a full 9” model, from finger tips to heel. Schoolboy Rowe pitched from 1933-1949, collecting 158 wins and was a 3 time All-Star. Played for the Tigers (10 yrs.), Phillies (5 yrs. ), and Brooklyn Dodgers (1 yr.).
