Description: I can't tell the signature. Looks like Hector, but I can't make out the ending. Please advise if you know. They are sterling 925 Taxco marked with artist with clip on screw backs. The black is part of the design from what I can tell. I have tried cleaning them for hours in cleaning solution and toothbrush to the black areas, and google shows the black in other postings too. From the top of the earring clip to the bottom of the dangles measures just under 2" and the circle of the larger circle is approx. 7/8" across.The design may be the Greek Key? or Mayan Symbol.
