Description: STEREO REALIST 3D CAMERA MODEL ST-42 UPGRADED VERSION WITH f2.8 LENSES The first of the 1950s 35mm 3D Stereo cameras, actually introduced in 1947, the Stereo Realist raced to the commercial forefront with heavy, enduring, multi-year ad campaigns. The Stereo Realist, Model ST41, was one of the two best selling stereo cameras of the 1950s and 1960s. The Stereo Realist Camera was produced and is found in largest numbers today, and therefore, value-wise, is among the best values today. Five years into the production of the Stereo Realist cameras, the prospect for a souped-up camera became a reality. The Stereo Realist ST-42 was born. Increasing the top shutter speed to 1/200 second from 1/150 second meant greater versatility on bright sun-shining days and with faster ASA (DIN) films. Plus lenses opened up to f2.8 from the standard f3.3.5 also meant greater versatility at the lower light situations. The ST-42 versions are much more scarce the ST41.
