A classic "campfire" instrument, Harmony's #695 Baritone uke is a simple and unpretentious gen, a delightful strummer for anyone from studio player to rank amateur. The construction is all solid mahogany with a 14-fret mahogany neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard, strung with Nylon strings. The tuners are very antique looking banjo-style friction pegs that would look at home on an instrument from the 1910s. Harmony called this "A super size instrument with warmth of tone and ease of response that will delight the exacting player" and listed it at $37.50 in the late 1950s, which was quite a bit more than many of their budget guitars!
