Description: We have for sale a vintage labeled "Fallani & Cohn All Linen" signed "Luther Travis" kitchen tea towel. It measures approximately 29.5" x 16" and is in nice used condition. It features the theme of "Early New England Cookery" with traditional recipes of the area including "Beaten Biscuit", "Orange Fool", "Wild Goofe", "Oyster Stuffing for Turkey", "Indian Pudding", "Corn Fritters", and "Crullers". It does have one spot that I believe to be a misprint of the coloring on the towel- the threads in the spot were left white instead of tan like the rest of the background- I show this spot in one of the pics. There's a smaller similar lighter misdyed spot by the bottom left corner of the fireplace on the towel, but it's not as noticable. This is from my mother Dorothy's (a Rosie the Riveter in WWII) collection. She was a fun, strong, and vibrant lady who had an eye for unique and beautiful items. Our hope is that these items find their way to people who will appreciate them as much as she did. Please look at all pictures and ask questions before purchase. Thank you!
